Ann | The Creator Behind KilanaAnn
Gamer. Horror Enthusiast. Content Creator. Educator. Professional Chaos Coordinator.
Hey there, Spiderlings! I'm Ann, the face (and occasional scream) behind KilanaAnn and the voice behind HorrorAnn!
I'm a lifelong gamer, horror enthusiast, content creator, podcaster, and educator with a passion for storytelling, technology, and bringing people together through gaming.
Whether I'm running for my life in Dead by Daylight, diving into the psychological nightmares of Silent Hill, exploring the terrifying worlds of Resident Evil, or uncovering the haunting stories behind my favorite horror games, there's always something delightfully spooky happening around here.
With a background in computer science, cybersecurity, graphic design, and game development, I've spent years working behind the scenes in technology, live event production, and creative media. I also teach aspiring creators and game developers, helping the next generation turn their creative passions into real-world skills.
I've spent over a decade producing and supporting gaming conventions, live shows, tournaments, and community events, including serving as Executive Producer for Carolina Games Summit. That experience helped shape my love for live entertainment, collaboration, and building welcoming communities.
As a streamer, I'm a proud member of the Fogbound Crew, a Resident Evil Ambassador, and the Program Head for AthenaCLT+ Gaming Goddesses, where I help support and celebrate fellow creators.
But there's more to me than jump scares and questionable survival decisions!
My podcast, HorrorAnn, takes that passion for horror even further. Through deep dives into horror games, their lore, characters, development, and psychological themes, I explore what makes these stories so unforgettable.
When I'm not streaming, recording, teaching, or working on another creative project, you'll probably find me spending time with my pets, tending to my collection of spiders, planning my next cosplay, or getting lost in another horror game.
At the heart of everything I do is a love for creativity, community, and a little bit of chaos.
So whether you're here for the horror, the laughs, the lore, or just to hang out with a bunch of wonderfully weird people, welcome to the web.
Stay spooky, Spiderlings! 🕸️
